Systemic Yeast Infection Treatments – Is There Such A Thing As A Yeast Infection That Cannot Be Cured?

My girlfriend and I are taking it very slow but we want to progress soon. She confided in me the other day that she has what she calls a “Systemic yeast infection” and that she is nervous about taking it to the next level. She also said that she has had this for many years and it was caused after she was given too many antibiotics when she was very young and that when she hit puberty it activated and has bothered her ever since.

She says that with diet and medication she can get it to go away but only while she follows that diet and continues on her pills. After she stops apparently, even though the infection has cleared off, it comes right back. She is very embarrassed about this and getting her to talk about it is like pulling teeth. So I did some research of my own and I have yet to be able to find anything about a yeast infection that sticks with a person for the duration of their life.
